Overview

A highly motivated and analytical Strategy Consulting Manager is sought to support cross-border business initiatives between Japan and North America. This role involves working closely with executive-level clients across various industries to deliver data-driven strategic recommendations.

This position offers strong career growth opportunities within a newly established U.S. consulting team, along with exposure to global markets including North America, Europe, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution and manage consulting teams
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry/regulatory research
• Develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis and business insights
• Manage client relationships and present findings to executive stakeholders
• Prepare client deliverables, primarily using PowerPoint
• Support business development efforts, including proposal creation
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions
• Mentor and support junior team members

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
  • (5+ years acceptable for candidates from consulting firms)
• Japanese/English bilingual proficiency (Japanese required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and logically
• Experience working with executive-level stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn
