style=\"font-size: inherit\">Position: Business Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">\ufeffJob Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Maintains existing customer and supplier accounts by facilitating regular meetings, promoting new materials, suggesting improved workflow\/ logistics, and other project management duties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Manage requests from new customer\/supplier inquiries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Search for prospective new customers from warm leads, or by making cold calls and\/or visits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Primarily will work with clients in industries related to Chemical, IT (Hight Tech),\u00a0Automotive, Electronics, new industry etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Coordinates supplier visits from overseas and visits existing customers together to solve problems regarding material supply and compliance, or in case of new business development, coordinates business start-up by assisting to complete NDA, coordinate samples for evaluation, etc. as well as propose commercial business model and workflow.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Finds new suppliers\/vendors for customers and prepare quotations, negotiates prices between suppliers and customers, and promotes total supply chain proposal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Coordinates activity for Trade Shows\/Exhibitions, including registration, booth setup and attendance for promotion of various materials and\/or services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">May be requested to perform business-level English\/Japanese translation, if candidate has the applicable skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Other special projects assigned by the upper management or company initiative.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: inherit\">Desired Skills\/Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business related major is preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: inherit\">3-5 years of B to B sales experience is required.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Requires thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creation of research, reporting and presentations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Excellent communication and negotiation skills necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment is critical.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Ability to travel up to 30% in the US and internationally (requires valid driver&#039;s\u00a0license and passport)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: inherit\"><u>Japanese language skill is highly appreciated, but not mandatory.<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Company provides excellent benefit
