    Job Summary:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    We are seeking an experienced and bilingual Accountant<\/strong> to support the financial operations of a company managing multiple group entities in the U.S. This position plays a key role in maintaining accounting accuracy, preparing financial reports, and contributing to system improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, culturally adaptable, and comfortable in a collaborative, non-competitive work environment.<\/p>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Maintain subsidiary accounting records and manage various accounting transactions<\/li>\n
    2. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and internal reports<\/li>\n
    3. Coordinate with external audit firms for quarterly and annual reviews<\/li>\n
    4. Analyze operational and financial data; prepare variance reports comparing budget vs. actual<\/li>\n
    5. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and audit requirements<\/li>\n
    6. Support preparation of tax-related documents and manage bank transactions<\/li>\n
    7. Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and process improvements<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • 3\u20136 years of relevant accounting experience<\/li>\n
      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience<\/li>\n
      • CPA certification not required<\/strong> (preferred but not mandatory)<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in both Japanese and English (business level)<\/strong> is required (reporting to Japan HQ)<\/li>\n
      • Experience working in a Japanese company or with Japanese business culture is a plus<\/li>\n
      • Flexible and open-minded personality that fits a traditional yet collaborative culture<\/li>\n
      • Strong Excel and general systems skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
