{"id":23690,"date":"2026-01-08T21:50:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T21:50:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/customer-support-engineer-4\/"},"modified":"2026-01-08T21:50:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T21:50:15","slug":"customer-support-engineer-4","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/customer-support-engineer-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Customer Support Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Customer Support Engineer \u2013 Dicer\/ CMP<\/p>\n<p>Department: Dicer\/Back Grinder Products<\/p>\n<p>Reports To: Product Manager<\/p>\n<p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Hourly Pay: $28-32\/h<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of this Customer Support Engineer position include, but are<\/p>\n<p>not limited to, providing customer engineering support for Dicer \/Back Grinder products and general<\/p>\n<p>support for all other America divisions by performing the following duties.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Install, repair, and maintain Dicer \/Back Grinder and related peripherals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform Periodical Maintenance (PM)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform basic repairs and communicate with the customer regarding status of installs\/PM and<\/p>\n<p>repairs.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Communicate with customers regarding the current and future applications requirements and<\/p>\n<p>coordinate this information with the application engineering department.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Understand and communicate information relating to customer device trends and strategies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Complete detailed Field Service Reports (FSRs) and submit to management in a timely manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Document issues that cannot be resolved immediately at the customer site by using appropriate<\/p>\n<p>format (i.e. New Enhancement Requests (NERs), Bug Reports).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Learn how customer uses system in device development and manufacturing to identify future<\/p>\n<p>enhancement opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Travel as required to perform these duties and to obtain training.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All other duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N\/A<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each<\/p>\n<p>essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,<\/p>\n<p>and\/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to<\/p>\n<p>perform the essential functions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE: BSME or BSEE preferred, but AA or Technical School<\/p>\n<p>degree\/certification with at least two-year experience as a customer support engineer for Dicer \/Back<\/p>\n<p>Grinder or other similar equipment; or an equivalent combination of the above education and experience<\/p>\n<p>is sufficient. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>LANGUAGE SKILLS: English Language Ability. Strong oral and written communication skills<\/p>\n<p>required. Japanese Language is a plus.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Very high mathematical and computational ability. Able to quickly<\/p>\n<p>grasp the scientific principals behind very complex machinery and learn the operation of this machinery.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form<\/p>\n<p>and to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Able to quickly ascertain and resolve equipment<\/p>\n<p>problems at customer sites.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>REASONING ABILITY: Excellent analytical ability and strong capability to make sound judgments. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Training Certificates for Dicer \/PG and\/or other equipment is a plus.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, unassisted. Must be able to push, pull, or move heavy machinery or equipment with or without assistance.
