About the Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Project Superintendent \/ Field Engineer<\/strong> will play a key role in supporting ongoing industrial construction projects, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality completion. This position will be based in the Charlotte office and will require travel to other project sites (up to 50%).<\/p>\n

    Essential Functions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Preconstruction Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Participate in reviewing drawings and specifications.<\/li>\n
    • Estimate cost and manhours required to complete tasks and meet project expectations within budget and schedule.<\/li>\n
    • Contribute to preconstruction planning related to budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Project Start-Up and Scheduling<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Review and understand project specifications and contract conditions.<\/li>\n
      • Confirm that all materials and subcontractor work are scheduled accurately and comply with contract documents and quality standards.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure all materials are tested per specifications and that test results are properly recorded.<\/li>\n
      • Conduct site visits and inspections of subcontractors and vendors to verify quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Project Administration, Operations, and Close-Out<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Coordinate and monitor subcontractor progress and performance.<\/li>\n
        • Communicate regularly with management, subcontractors, and related parties regarding schedules, construction methods, policies, permits, safety, and quality standards.<\/li>\n
        • Attend daily or weekly project progress meetings and plan upcoming work accordingly.<\/li>\n
        • Manage project closeout, ensuring financial obligations are met, resources are demobilized, and the project is successfully transitioned to the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Customer Relations<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n
          • Represent company values and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n<\/hr>\n

            Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n
              \n
            • Bachelor\u2019s degree required<\/strong> in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            • Minimum of 3 years of experience<\/strong> in an industrial or construction project environment.<\/li>\n
            • Strong knowledge of construction contracts<\/strong>, terminology, and project documentation.<\/li>\n
            • Demonstrated organizational<\/strong>, time management<\/strong>, and multitasking<\/strong> skills.<\/li>\n
            • Ability to estimate project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.<\/li>\n
            • Strong problem-solving<\/strong> skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.<\/li>\n
            • Experience managing teams, tools, and resources to achieve project goals.<\/li>\n
            • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            • Commitment to quality assurance<\/strong> and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)<\/strong> and general PC skills.<\/li>\n
            • Ability to prepare or review daily logs, monthly reports<\/strong>, and project progress documentation.<\/li>\n
            • Experience working in a multinational environment<\/strong> (preferred).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Working Environment<\/strong><\/h2>\n
                \n
              • This is an in-office position<\/strong> reporting to the Charlotte, NC office<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              • Must comply with company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE<\/strong> when on-site.<\/li>\n
              • May be required to work extended hours<\/strong>, weekends<\/strong>, and holidays<\/strong> based on project schedules.<\/li>\n
