Job Summary<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n The Sales Representative works for the Sales team by gaining sales, creating marketing activities, communicating with the Inside Sales team, and performing other functions as assigned.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Essential Functions<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n 1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Conducts marketing research, collection of market information such as steel suppliers, competitors, and potential customers.<\/span><\/p>\n 2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Sales activities such as negotiation of orders in terms of price, allocation, and lead-time with a customer and a vendor.<\/span><\/p>\n 3.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Maintain and strengthen relationship with customers, vendors, and processors to achieve a sales budget.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Manage credit\/inventory lines with new and existing customers and collecting AR timely basis.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Control of order-entry, outstanding orders, inventory, and delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n 6.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Coordinate logistics and processing for materials.<\/span><\/p>\n 7.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Manage quality issues among the customer, supplier, processor, and insurance company.<\/span><\/p>\n 8.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Seek and develop new business opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n 9.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Communicate with the Sales and Inside Sales teams of each Division to ensure materials are delivered timely.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 10.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Weekly and monthly reports as required by management.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 11.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Performs other duties from time to time as assigned by the management of the department.\u00a0Job duties may change at any time with or without notice.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Skills and Qualifications<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n 1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business, Sales, or related field is preferred.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>At least 1 year of sales experience preferred.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 3.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 4.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 5.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Proficient knowledge of ERP systems preferred.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 6.\u00a0\u00a0Japanese language\u3000\uff08Business and above\uff09<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Work Environment and Physical Demands<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n This job operates in a professional office environment.
