Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n

A U.S.-based company with global operations is seeking an experienced SAP Application Lead to support an ongoing SAP S\/4HANA <\/strong>implementation and serve as the primary operational owner after go-live. This role leads IT-related workstreams, collaborates closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensures stable, compliant operation of SAP and related systems. The position offers a balance of hands-on system operations, project coordination, vendor management, and long-term system ownership.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

SAP Implementation & Project Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Lead IT-related coordination and workstreams during the SAP S\/4HANA implementation<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal users to manage system activities<\/li>\n
  • Support project coordination tasks including documentation, follow-up actions, and stakeholder communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Application Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Serve as the primary operational lead for SAP S\/4HANA (SD\/MM\/FI\/CO coordination level)<\/li>\n
    • Manage IBP planning cycles, scheduled jobs, and basic master data synchronization<\/li>\n
    • Monitor EDI\/IDoc workflows and perform initial troubleshooting prior to vendor escalation<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate RPA bot operations, updates, and issue resolution with automation vendors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Change Management & Controls<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Manage issue triage, enhancements, testing, and application changes<\/li>\n
      • Maintain SOPs, operational documentation, and application runbooks<\/li>\n
      • Lead IT General Controls (ITGC) activities including access reviews and change management coordination<\/li>\n
      • Prepare documentation for SOX \/ J-SOX audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Vendor & Budget Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Manage relationships with IT vendors and review service deliverables<\/li>\n
        • Track IT spending, review vendor invoices, and support the annual IT budget process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n<\/hr>\n

          Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • 3\u20136 years of experience supporting SAP ERP (ECC and\/or S\/4HANA)<\/li>\n
          • Solid understanding of SAP SD, MM, or FI\/CO business processes<\/li>\n
          • Hands-on experience participating in SAP implementation projects<\/li>\n
          • Experience coordinating IT projects, system enhancements, and vendor management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n<\/hr>\n

            Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Familiarity with SOX \/ J-SOX IT General Controls<\/li>\n
            • Experience working in multi-system, integrated environments<\/li>\n
            • Exposure to EDI\/IDoc, IBP, and\/or RPA systems<\/li>\n
            • Japanese language skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
