This position will support day-to-day accounting operations and work closely with the Accounting &amp; Operations Director.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work, cross-functional collaboration, and working in a bilingual, international environment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Accounts Receivable (A\/R), including invoice issuance, deposit tracking, reconciliation with financial statements, and follow-up on overdue accounts<\/li>\n<li>Process insurance compensation for cargo damage and calculate disposal fees for invoicing<\/li>\n<li>Support development of the annual sales budget using reports from sales managers<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly and annual intercompany reconciliations and related reports<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update the general ledger and sales journals<\/li>\n<li>Process accounting receivables and incoming payments<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, review, and verify invoices prior to customer distribution<\/li>\n<li>Input Accounts Payable (A\/P) logistics fee data into internal systems<\/li>\n<li>Prepare factoring application documents and confirm invoice receipt<\/li>\n<li>Create monthly order, sales, and production cost reports<\/li>\n<li>Organize and maintain accounting documentation (A\/P and A\/R)<\/li>\n<li>Support semi-annual and year-end financial audits<\/li>\n<li>Process wire transfers following approval from senior accounting leadership<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and comply with internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with the parent company regarding invoices and coordinate with internal teams<\/li>\n<li>Oversee warehouse inventory records and track inventory changes<\/li>\n<li>Support year-end inventory reconciliation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Qualifications &amp; Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Fluent Japanese language skills (speaking, reading, and writing required)<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a bilingual, cross-cultural environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-23930","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Accounting Staff, Japanese Bilingual - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/061457\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Accounting Staff, Japanese Bilingual - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Accounting Staff, Japanese Bilingual Job Location: NJ Employment Type: Permanent \/ Full-Time Working Model: Hybrid A well-established Japanese company is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Accounting Staff to join its U.S. team in New Jersey.
