ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The General Manager plays a critical role in the development and success of whole organization as well as each branch. It is the responsibility of the GM to strategically lead teams, monitor and build the financial performance of the team, meet or exceed metrics, and cultivate a network of business partners within the freight industry both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Creates and implement a business plan strategy that successfully company\u2019s sales goals and expected profit margins.<\/li>\n
  • Plans and monitor inbound\/outbound operations including cargo arrangement and warehouse activities, ensuring safety work environment.<\/li>\n
  • Engages and makes sound decisions in regard to the branch budget, expenses, costs and overall profitability.<\/li>\n
  • Oversees and measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports of each branch.<\/li>\n
  • Communicates and reports branch and individual accountability back to MSE\u2019s officers.<\/li>\n
  • Delivers clear expectations in regard to the role and direction of branches.<\/li>\n
  • Promotes and ensures a positive work environment that is challenging and engaging.<\/li>\n
  • Embraces the hiring process and be a part of solidifying the branches\u2019 key positions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Knowledge and Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to perform cross-functionally and cross-organizationally.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set operational goals.<\/li>\n
    • An analytical approach to operation planning that creatively solves challenges.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to make timely decisions in a complex environment under pressure.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to effectively negotiate with customers and vendors.<\/li>\n
    • A keen eye and displays excellent attention to detail.<\/li>\n
    • Exude a competitive nature and a desire to surpass existing goals.<\/li>\n
    • Result oriented with the drive to want to grow within the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications\/Experiences:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • 7 years+ in the air\/ocean freight forwarding, domestic cargo movement, and third-party logistics management preferred.<\/li>\n
      • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
