Industry:<\/strong> Functional Films \/ Advanced Materials<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A leading Japanese manufacturer of functional films and materials is seeking an Account Manager to join its expanding U.S. team. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing sales of decorative material products for architectural applications (furniture and interior decorative films) across the United States and emerging markets in the Americas.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities through strong relationships and superior customer service<\/li>\n
  • Perform all aspects of sales activities, including customer support, sales presentations, sample development, order processing, production coordination, and after-sales follow-up<\/li>\n
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers\u2019 Purchasing, Quality, R&D, Design, and Logistics teams<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate closely with the Tokyo office to manage the full process from pre-production through manufacturing and delivery<\/li>\n
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand product adoption and market presence<\/li>\n
  • Research industry and design trends to support the development of new, marketable designs and colors<\/li>\n
  • Conduct market research, prepare reports, and identify potential new clients and industries<\/li>\n
  • Travel domestically and internationally to visit customers and attend trade shows<\/li>\n
  • Prepare sales reports, quotations, contracts, and related business correspondence<\/li>\n
  • Perform additional duties as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n
    • Minimum 2 years of outside sales and\/or marketing experience<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies<\/li>\n
    • Self-motivated with strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n
    • Ability to travel within the U.S. and abroad<\/li>\n
    • Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to use a personal vehicle for business purposes<\/li>\n
    • Japanese language skills are a strong plus, but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
