{"id":24203,"date":"2026-02-14T17:15:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T17:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/061625\/"},"modified":"2026-02-14T17:15:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T17:15:31","slug":"061625","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/061625\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Associate-Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Japanese Bilingual Accounting Associate <\/h1>\n<p>Remote\/Hybrid work may be considered for qualified candidates residing in Florida.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2>Position Overview<\/h2>\n<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, and client communication functions.<\/p>\n<p>This role requires professional-level Japanese and English language skills in order to effectively support clients through email and phone communication.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform bookkeeping and accounting write-ups<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tax returns and process payroll<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot banking-related issues<\/li>\n<li>Provide light translation support as needed<\/li>\n<li>Perform data entry and maintain accurate records<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with customers to ensure inquiries are resolved within agreed timeframes<\/li>\n<li>Answer phone calls for assigned accounts and respond to moderately complex client inquiries<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (verbal and written)<\/li>\n<li> <em>(Required to support Japanese-speaking clients via email and telephone)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Experience with bookkeeping, tax, or payroll processes<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Strong understanding of Windows operating systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Excellent communication and organizational skills<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA credentials<\/li>\n<li>Experience in an accounting firm or client-service environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2>Work Authorization<\/h2>\n<p>Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
