IT Support Engineer – Japanese company<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong>\u00a0New York, NY Onsite<\/p>\n

Hours:<\/strong>\u00a07 hours shift between 8:30 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday through Friday except holidays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pay rate:<\/strong>\u00a060K<\/strong>\uff5e<\/strong>78K DOE<\/strong>\uff08<\/span>Non-Exempt<\/span>\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

General Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

This position is stationed at the client\u2019s site. However, might be assigned for Telecommuting as Hybrid, depending on the client\u2019s needs.\u00a0Responsibilities include providing technical support on system administration timely manner. *Job functions may differ depending on client\u2019s requirement.<\/em><\/p>\n

Essential Job Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Serves as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email or instant message, or walk-ins.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves technical system, hardware and\/or software issues.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Provides efficient and appropriate resolution and excellent customer service.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Escalates unsolved complex issues to appropriate personnel in timely manner.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Provides Tier 1-3 support for technical issues.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Maintains records of technical issues inquired, provided resolutions and time spent to solve issues.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Provides feedback received from end users to the superior.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Identifies and suggests possible improvements on procedures.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Keeps track of loaner laptops, mobile wifi, and other loaner devices.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Maintains professional and good-natured relationship with end users.<\/p>\n

Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

EDUCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate\u2019s or bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field, preferred.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>At least Three-year experience of IT technical support, helpdesk or similar position.\u00a0<\/p>\n
