Job Summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and support monthly closing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Accounts Payable (AP)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Prepare and process payments (checks, bank transfers, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Maintain updated vendor records<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Accounts Receivable (AR)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Prepare and issue customer invoices<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Record incoming payments and apply to customer accounts<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Monitor customer balances and follow up on overdue payments<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Reconcile AR sub-ledger with the general ledger<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Maintain accurate customer records<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      General Accounting<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Perform bank and account reconciliations<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Support financial statement preparation<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Support internal and external audits<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h2>\n
          \n
        • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Over 2 years of accounting experience required<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in accounting <\/span>software (SAGE) and Microsoft Excel<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n
        • High attention to detail and accuracy<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Good communication and organizational skills<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Japanese language skills are highly desired but not necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
