Position: Quality Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Location: Peru, IL (Onsite Position)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Drawing review to determine Quality Requirements, Paint Coverage Areas, Critical\/Special Characteristics, Material\/Performance Specifications and Communication to all affected areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Planning, Organizing, and Preparing Pilot Order activities per customer requirement in conjunction with Program Development Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Submitting and follow up on Part Approval Package (PSW, E Documents).<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Attending Fit Reviews (Joint Checks\/Check Fixture) at assigned customer(s).<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Submitting and follow us on:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) Part Validation Testing (ADVP&R, PV Test Plan, PEP) to the customer<\/span><\/p>\n

b) Check Fixture Concept and Approval Documents<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Updating process flow charts, PFMEA and control plans (PQCT) to the customer<\/span><\/p>\n

d) Inspection standards\/agreements to the assigned customer(s)<\/span><\/p>\n

e) Inspection Data Sheets (IDS) to the customer<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Attend color harmony reviews at the assigned customer(s)<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Submit and follow up on color and grain approval documents (AAR, MUS) to the customer<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Submitting and follow up on process change requests (PCR\/IPP\/IPPAAR) to the customer.<\/span><\/p>\n

9. Planning, organizing, and follow up:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) On engineering change activities internally for assigned customer<\/span><\/p>\n

b) Planning, Organizing, Performing process capability studies.<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Gage R&R Studies.<\/span><\/p>\n

10. Daily review of customer portal and distribution of relevant information internally<\/span><\/p>\n

11. Generating, submitting, training and modification of internal documents and completion of QE document(s) Matrix for assigned products as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) Molding Quality Control Table (MQCT)<\/span><\/p>\n

b) Surfact Classification Sheets (SCS)<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Coordination Check Sheets (CCS)<\/span><\/p>\n

d) Paint in Process Inspection Standards (PIPI)<\/span><\/p>\n

e) Standardized Work Instruction Sheets (SWI) for Check Fixture Processes<\/span><\/p>\n

f) Job Instruction Sheets (JIS) as applicable and as needed<\/span><\/p>\n

g) QUAL-A-GRAMS for internal and external issues<\/span><\/p>\n

h) Special Attention Sheets (SAS) as applicable and needed<\/span><\/p>\n

i) New Launch Verification Instructions (Safe Launch Plan)<\/span><\/p>\n

j) Problem Tracking Sheets (PTS, PFS, PDCA), Internally and Externally<\/span><\/p>\n

k) Company Color Matching Status \u2013 FM 10-0106<\/span><\/p>\n

12. Customer contact for quality issues and reacting in accordance with external\/internal procedures including but not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) Issuing Internal Notification Documentation<\/span><\/p>\n

b) Issuing Internal Corrective Action Requests<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Assisting in investigation of Root Cause and Countermeasures<\/span><\/p>\n

d) Submission and follow up of Response to Customer (5P)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree (B.A.) from four-year university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information. Ability to respond to common inquiries. Ability to effectively present information to supervisors, engineers, and management.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database and internet software.<\/span><\/p>\n
