{"id":24417,"date":"2026-02-28T01:50:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-28T01:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/061728\/"},"modified":"2026-02-28T01:50:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-28T01:50:37","slug":"061728","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/061728\/","title":{"rendered":"Lab Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position:<\/strong>\u00a0Application Development Lab Technician<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Location<\/strong>: San Jose, CA *100% work @ office and lab<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Hours<\/strong>: Monday to Friday,\u00a0<span>4 hours of part-time jobs, basically 9am &#8211; 1pm (can be flexible)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualified operator should have\/be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.S. in STEM is preferred, but candidates currently enrolled are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<li>1-3 years of lab work experience is ideal. Class lab work is acceptable.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of material analysis with FT-IR, UV-Vis, ICP-MS.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of analytical method development also a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a chemical laboratory is preferred (laboratory coursework is acceptable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct material characterization including particle size, molecular weight, chemical structure, impurities and related<\/li>\n<li>Conduct material property analysis utilizing FT-IR, UV-vis, and related<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of performance for application development and product technical support<\/li>\n<li>Provide well written reports on analysis of material properties or evaluation of products<\/li>\n<li>Will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of laboratory and pilot equipment as well as required calibrations<\/li>\n<li>Participate on teams to help improve programs like safety and lab management operations<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for capital projects for the procurement and installation of new laboratory equipment<\/li>\n<li>Aid in new product applications trials in the technical center and at customers \u2013 along with the ability to prioritize work and complete in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Also responsible for general functions with regards to laboratory readiness and material organization<\/li>\n<li>Expected to handle strong oxidizers and acids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24417","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Lab Technician - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/061728\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Lab Technician - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Position:\u00a0Application Development Lab Technician Work Location: San Jose, CA *100% work @ office and lab Working Hours: Monday to Friday,\u00a04 hours of part-time jobs, basically 9am &#8211;
