This role focuses on applications support, assay operation, troubleshooting, servicing, and distributor\/customer support across the Americas.<\/p>\n<p>This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in supporting distributors and customers throughout North, Central, and South America.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Style &amp; Travel<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates residing outside San Antonio may primarily work remotely, with on-site attendance as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Domestic and international business travel within the Americas is required approximately 3\u20134 times per year.<\/li>\n<li>Work environments include home office, corporate office, hospital laboratories, and distributor offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and ensure optimal performance of clinical chemistry analyzers and reference systems<\/li>\n<li>Inspect, calibrate, and maintain analyzers to ensure performance accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures or malfunctions<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical and applications support to distributors and customers<\/li>\n<li>Assist with assay operation and technical training<\/li>\n<li>Create and review technical documentation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with customers, distributors, and internal team members via email and phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fluency in written and spoken English, Spanish, and Portuguese<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team<\/li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with structured documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Physically capable of performing inspection and service activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in laboratory diagnostics and\/or Clinical Chemistry applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related (Mechanical) field<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience as a Chemical Engineering Technician or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with laboratory safety regulations and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical data<\/li>\n<li>Clear and professional communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and documentation abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive annual salary of $80,000-100,000\/year<\/li>\n<li>Fully covered health insurance- (Health, Dental and Vision)<\/li>\n<li>Paid vacation, PTO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If you are a technically skilled professional with laboratory diagnostic experience and multilingual communication abilities, we encourage you to apply.
