This role manages AR and AP staff, coordinates with external audit and tax partners, and plays a key role in completing and optimizing the company\u2019s ERP transition.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business<\/li>\n<li>10+ years of progressive accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of management experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and full accounting cycle<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on leadership style with ability to manage a small team<\/li>\n<li><span>Advanced Excel skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Master\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>5+ <\/span>years of management experience<\/li>\n<li><span>Experience working through ERP implementations<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Experience within a publicly traded, global company<\/li>\n<li><span>Experience with Sage100 and\/or Acumatica<\/span><\/li>\n<li>CPA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee full-cycle month-end, quarterly, and year-end close in accordance with GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure timely processing and strong cash flow management.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and mentor two direct reports (Staff Accountant \u2013 AP, Senior AR Clerk \u2013 AR).<\/li>\n<li>Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory reconciliation, including physical inventory counts at year end.<\/li>\n<li>Lead final phases of ERP implementation (Sage100 to Acumatica), including testing, data validation, and process optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as liaison with external audit and tax firms to ensure compliance and timely filings.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare required reporting packages for headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.<\/li>\n<li>Lead annual budgeting process and perform variance analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24459","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Accounting Manager - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/d3q8xutu1rneyj.cloudfront.net\/en\/job\/061737\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Accounting Manager - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Location: Smyrna, GA Salary: $120k\u2013$130k (flexible) Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and leading key department initiatives.
