Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n The Production Technician is responsible for ensuring that injection molding and automation processes are optimized for high-quality production, while supporting troubleshooting, process improvement, and training initiatives. This role manages multiple machines, supports automation systems, and contributes to continuous improvement projects to increase yield, reduce waste, and enhance safety.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 5\u201310 years of experience in injection molding, robotics operation and troubleshooting, and mold temperature controller operations in automotive manufacturing.<\/p>\n \u2022 Strong understanding of injection molding terminology, machine components, and common defects.<\/p>\n \u2022 Knowledge of hot runner systems and auxiliary equipment (mold controllers, material dryers, robots).<\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to analyze process issues and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n \u2022 Capable of assisting with mold changeovers and supporting process optimization initiatives.<\/p>\n \u2022 Skilled in documentation, including process records and quality reports.<\/p>\n \u2022 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n \u2022 Professional degree in Injection Molding or related field preferred.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Quality Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Understand and follow the Quality Management System, including IATF16949 requirements.<\/p>\n \u2022 Assist in identifying and resolving molding defects.<\/p>\n \u2022 Support opportunities for quality improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n \u2022 Ensure defects are reported and corrective actions completed before restarting production.<\/p>\n \u2022 Support quality audits and continuous improvement activities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Production Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Operate and manage multiple injection molding machines and automation systems.<\/p>\n \u2022 Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues and assist in implementing solutions.<\/p>\n \u2022 Support improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and quality.<\/p>\n \u2022 Load material correctly, maintain accurate records, and manage terminal scrap.<\/p>\n \u2022 Assist in training Junior Technicians on machine operation, robot programming, and process standards.<\/p>\n \u2022 Perform Red Rabbit procedures and ensure proper startup of all assigned machines.<\/p>\n \u2022 Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to production schedules and safety standards.<\/p>\n \u2022 Performs other related duties as required.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Company Policies \/ Teamwork<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.<\/p>\n \u2022 Collaborate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.<\/p>\n \u2022 Display regular and predictable attendance and compliance with company point system.<\/p>\n \u2022 Follow company policies and procedures, promoting a safe and cooperative work environment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Physical Demands<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods.<\/p>\n \u2022 Use hands to pick up small parts and handle products accurately.<\/p>\n \u2022 Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.<\/p>\n \u2022 Frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Work Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Work closely with co-workers in a cooperative manner.<\/p>\n \u2022 Wear complete PPE while in working areas.<\/p>\n \u2022 Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemical lubricants, and oils.<\/p>\n \u2022 Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, or electrical hazards.<\/p>\n \u2022 Noise level ranges from moderate to high.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24483","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
