A Japanese company in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join its team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company manufactures and supplies adhesive and protective materials for automotive applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Sales<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Develops and maintains relationships with new and assigned customers and provides information to maximize sales volume.<\/li>\n
  2. Gathers data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.<\/li>\n
  3. Dealing with product complaints from customers.<\/li>\n
  4. Dealing with slow moving inventory.<\/li>\n
  5. Prepares a sales presentation and sales promotion samples or tools.<\/li>\n
  6. Prepares and distributes various sales reports.<\/li>\n
  7. Calculate MSI\/SQM in monthly sales and quantity.<\/li>\n
  8. Compile automotive production numbers and join a sales meeting with headquarters in Japan.<\/li>\n
  9. Bridges the U.S. division and headquarters in Japan in relation to sales promotion of company products.<\/li>\n
  10. Supports the U.S. sales team in administrative tasks, such as quote preparation, delivery-related issue solving, or others.<\/li>\n
  11. Provides backup support for the sales team when necessary.<\/li>\n
  12. Performs language translation between English and Japanese, when needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Inventory<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Checking out a wheel protection control sheet for IPC customer and estimating new order quantities to be placed with headquarters in Japan.<\/li>\n
    2. Checking out a wheel protection, sash tape and anti-chip product forecast for Yamato International customer and estimating new order quantities to be placed with headquarters in Japan.<\/li>\n
    3. Checking out a tire raw and finished roll inventory and estimating new order quantities to be placed with headquarters in Japan.<\/li>\n
    4. Performs annual physical inventory count at warehouses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      3. Other<\/strong><\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Supports environmental survey.<\/li>\n
      2. Supports courier custom clearance for jig parts and thermal ribbons.<\/li>\n
      3. Working manual updating.<\/li>\n
      4. Supports making graphic swatch books.<\/li>\n
      5. Shipping \/ receiving mails and packaging.<\/li>\n
      6. Buying office supplies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        4. During absence of a service representative<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        1. Receiving customer\u2019s PO \/ Shipping products \/ Sending COC \/ Invoicing.<\/li>\n
        2. Creating a weekly report and sending it to employees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Business trips:<\/strong> 1\u20132 times per month; attendance at trade shows about twice a year.<\/p>\n

          Experience:<\/strong> No specific industry experience required; around 3 years of sales experience preferred.<\/p>\n
