Travel:<\/strong> Approximately once every two months<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A Japanese company specializing in marine diesel engine solutions is seeking a Service Engineer to join its U.S. operations. This is a hands-on, technically focused role that supports both shipboard operations and customer technical services from the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of engineering experience with M<\/u><\/strong>arine Engines<\/u><\/strong> and a strong commitment to problem-solving and customer support.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Onboard \/ Shipyard Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on marine diesel engines<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supervise scheduled (periodical) maintenance activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Oversee modification and parts replacement work<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conduct commissioning of engines at shipyards<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Office-Based Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Provide technical support and advice to customers<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Coordinate engineer dispatch requests to service distributors, the head office, or overseas subsidiaries<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Experience in service engineering for marine diesel engines.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Maritime Engineering or a related field (preferred)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Valid driver\u2019s license required<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Strong problem-solving and communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
