With a stable business foundation and a collaborative team environment, the company offers long-term growth opportunities and exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced operational setting.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are hiring for this position at multiple levels (Junior to Senior), depending on experience.<\/p>\n<p>This is a single-position hire, and the level will be determined based on the selected candidate\u2019s qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and month-end processes.<\/p>\n<p>At the senior level, the role will also involve financial analysis, process improvement, and team support responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to grow their accounting career within a stable organization, as well as for experienced professionals looking to take on broader responsibilities. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities (All Levels)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, posting, and payment tracking<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate financial records and accounting system data<\/li>\n<li>Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and process payments, including vendor invoices and expense documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end close processes and generate financial reports (e.g., income statement, balance sheet)<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and vendors<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organized accounting files and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and special accounting projects as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities (Senior Level):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making <\/li>\n<li>Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities <\/li>\n<li>Review accounting processes and recommend improvements <\/li>\n<li>Support audit and tax-related processes to ensure compliance <\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance, training, or oversight to junior team members <\/li>\n<li>Monitor workflow and identify areas for efficiency and accuracy improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong> Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field <\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping <\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with AP\/AR and general accounting processes <\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Canadian GAAP <\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills <\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines <\/li>\n<li>Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting <\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills <\/li>\n<li>Chartered Professional Account (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certified or in-progress is an asset.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is an existing vacancy.
