Accounting Manager-Japanese Bilingual<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Position Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will work closely with the Controller and lead a small team while supporting overall business performance.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Accounting & Financial Reporting<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Oversee general ledger and maintain accurate financial records<\/li>\n
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing<\/li>\n
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports<\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Accounts Payable & Receivable<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Supervise AP\/AR functions and staff<\/li>\n
    • Monitor collections and customer payment trends<\/li>\n
    • Manage domestic and international payments (wire\/ACH)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Cash Flow & Financial Management<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Monitor cash flow and review AP\/AR aging<\/li>\n
      • Support budgeting and financial planning<\/li>\n
      • Analyze financial performance and profitability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Tax & Compliance<\/strong><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Coordinate federal, state, and sales tax filings<\/li>\n
        • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n
        • Work with external auditors for financial reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Team Leadership<\/strong><\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Supervise and mentor accounting staff<\/li>\n
          • Improve processes and operational efficiency<\/li>\n
          • Support team development and training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Additional Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
              \n
            • Manage intercompany transactions and reporting<\/li>\n
            • Prepare internal and global financial reports<\/li>\n
            • Support cross-functional teams with financial insights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n<\/hr>\n

              Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/li>\n
              • 5+ years of accounting experience (management experience preferred)<\/li>\n
              • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting<\/li>\n
              • Experience with month-end closing and financial statements<\/li>\n
              • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems<\/li>\n
              • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills<\/li>\n
              • Japanese-English bilingual (professional working proficiency)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
