You\u2019ll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term HR strategy in a cross-cultural (U.S.\u2013Japan) organization.<\/p>\n<p>This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to align people strategy with operational and production goals.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>HR Leadership &amp; Employee Relations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead all HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation<\/li>\n<li>Advise leadership on workforce strategy, retention, and organizational development<\/li>\n<li>Oversee investigations, compliance, and HR best practices across the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Legal, Compliance &amp; Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal\/state employment laws (FLSA, EEOC, OSHA, ADA, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Partner with legal counsel on employment matters, claims, and regulatory updates<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation, Benefits &amp; Payroll<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee total rewards strategy (salary, benefits, incentives)<\/li>\n<li>Manage payroll processes and vendor relationships<\/li>\n<li>Lead benefits planning, insurance programs, and open enrollment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Oversight &amp; Controls<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage HR budgets, vendor contracts, and financial approvals<\/li>\n<li>Ensure audit readiness and proper authorization controls<\/li>\n<li>Maintain transparency and accountability across HR operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Talent Acquisition &amp; Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead recruiting strategy for hourly and salaried roles<\/li>\n<li>Oversee onboarding, training programs, and succession planning<\/li>\n<li>Partner with leadership on workforce planning and leadership development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operations HR Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as HR partner to manufacturing operations<\/li>\n<li>Support production staffing, restructuring, and leadership development<\/li>\n<li>Build supervisory capability across the plant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee facilities, administration, vendor management, and company events<\/li>\n<li>Manage corporate communications and community engagement<\/li>\n<li>Support coordination with Japan HQ and cross-cultural initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EHS (Environmental, Health &amp; Safety)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead all safety and environmental compliance programs (OSHA, EPA)<\/li>\n<li>Oversee safety training, incident investigations, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Manage workers\u2019 compensation and regulatory interactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in HR, Business, or related field<\/li>\n<li>7+ years HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership<\/li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing (automotive\/Tier 1 preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing HRIS, payroll systems, and vendor relationships<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Japanese or global manufacturing environments<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to General Affairs and\/or EHS oversight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why This Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Executive-level impact across HR, operations, and safety<\/li>\n<li>Lead within a stable global company with a growing U.S. footprint<\/li>\n<li>High visibility with senior leadership and international stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape culture, systems, and long-term workforce strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24720","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
