Position Overview

As a Japanese Bilingual Accounting Administrative Assistant, you’ll support financial operations and help ensure smooth coordination between English- and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. It’s a dynamic position that combines accounting precision with cross-cultural communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
  • Reconcile invoices, expenses, and basic financial reports
  • Translate financial documents and correspondence (Japanese ↔ English)
  • Communicate with Japanese-speaking clients, vendors, or internal teams
  • Support payroll preparation and documentation
  • Provide general administrative support (scheduling, reporting, email coordination)

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
  • 1–3 years of accounting or administrative experience
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Experience working in a bilingual or international business environment
  • Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and communication styles
