Compensation: Approx. $65,000 annually

A North America–based service organization with operations across the U.S. and Canada is building out its finance function to support continued growth.
Position Summary
The Financial Administrator will support corporate finance activities in collaboration with the Finance Manager. This role blends financial planning, treasury, and strategic analysis responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning across U.S. and Canadian operations. The position offers exposure to high-impact initiatives such as KPI management and M&A support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate bank accounts, transactions (wire/ACH), and maintain relationships with financial institutions while ensuring compliance with banking regulations
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and materials for executive leadership, board members, investors, lenders, and external stakeholders
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across U.S. and Canada operations
- Assist in mid-term business planning and growth strategy development
- Develop, monitor, and track KPIs and financial performance metrics
- Support acquisitions and divestitures, including valuation analysis and risk assessment
- Report financial updates to the parent organization (primarily in Japanese via email)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams to support finance operations and process improvements
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent aptitude)
- Japanese language ability: expert
- English proficiency: business level or higher
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in finance, FP&A, corporate planning, or related functions
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling
- Experience supporting M&A or strategic initiatives
